Details required on the Letter of Compliance Request included:
- Your contact information;
- Vehicle VIN, Model, Year;
- Confirmation of fax number to receive a fax copy of the Recall Clearance Letter;
- Confirmation of mailing address where they can send the original copy Recall Clearance Letter.

Jaguar Canada no longer issues recall compliance letters. They have turned this service over to their dealers. In my case, I was referred to Grand Touring Autos in Toronto. And guess what. There is a charge for the letter. They offer a "service" which includes the installation of drls plus the letter for $500. When I requested the letter alone, I was told it was not available. When I pointed out that GM, Nissan, even Ferrari provides the letter free of charge, the service manager said he would have to talk to his manager and get back to me. Click. This is a marketing hornswoggle of the first water, and Jaguar should be ashamed. I will be looking for a solution elsewhere, and certainly not patronising Grand Touring in the future.
